Booking your appointment
Appointments are booked online through the booking system linked on this site. Walk-ins aren't available unless it's been agreed beforehand.
When you book, use the full name of the person getting the cut — not your own, if you're booking for someone else — and double-check the contact details before confirming. The confirmation email carries your studio address, so a wrong email means a missed appointment.
The minimum age for a cut is 4. Anyone under 16 should be booked by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the booking and for any fees under these terms.
Cancellations, reschedules and no-shows
Plans change — that's fine. Just give me at least 6 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, so the slot can go to someone else.
Cancelling or rescheduling inside 6 hours, or not turning up at all, incurs a fee of 50% of the service price. It's a one-chair studio: an empty slot at short notice can't be filled.
Repeated no-shows may mean I can't take future bookings from you.
Running late
Every service is booked for 45 minutes and appointments run back to back, so lateness eats into your own cut.
If you're running behind, message me as early as you can and I'll do what I can. More than 15 minutes late and I may not have time to finish the service properly — in that case it's treated as a late cancellation and the 50% fee applies.
Payment and prices
Payment is due at the end of your appointment. I accept cash, card, and online payment through the booking system.
Current prices are listed on the services page. Prices can change from time to time, but the price shown when you book is the price you pay for that appointment.
Arriving at the studio
The studio is a private home setup in Cashmere, Brisbane. A few things that keep it running smoothly:
- Arrive with clean, dry hair and no heavy product or build-up — it makes for a cleaner cut.
- Park on the street out front. Please don't park in the driveway.
- The exact address is emailed automatically once you book. Please don't share it publicly.
- Bring a friend if you like, but the space is small — one guest max.
Health, skin and allergies
Please tell me before your appointment if you have any scalp or skin conditions, open wounds, recent skin treatments, or known allergies to hair products, aftershave or fragrance.
I use STRUKT Hair Co. products for styling and finishing. Full ingredient lists are available on request — just ask before your cut if you'd rather I skip product entirely.
Photos and video
I photograph and film cuts for social media, my website and marketing. That's a real part of how the business grows.
You can always say no. Tell me at any point — before, during or after your cut — and nothing featuring you gets filmed or posted. If something's already up and you'd like it taken down, message me and I'll remove it.
Where a client is under 18, I'll get consent from a parent or guardian before posting anything that identifies them.
Any photos or videos I take remain the property of Omari Blendz™.
Respect in the studio
This is a respectful, positive space and it stays that way. Rude or aggressive behaviour, discrimination, or repeated no-shows may result in you being unable to book again.
I reserve the right to refuse or end a service if anyone's safety or comfort is at risk.
Getting the cut you want
Every appointment starts with a consultation and I'd much rather over-communicate than guess. Bring reference photos, ask questions, speak up mid-cut if something isn't going the way you pictured.
If you're not happy with the result, tell me before you leave — or within 48 hours — and I'll do my best to put it right free of charge. I can't fix what I don't hear about.
School, work and club grooming rules
It's your responsibility to make sure the style you choose meets the appearance standards of your school, workplace, sports club or organisation.
I'm happy to advise on what usually passes, but Omari Blendz™ isn't responsible for any disciplinary action that follows a haircut you've asked for.
STRUKT Hair Co. products
STRUKT Hair Co. is my hair care brand and is sold separately at strukthair.com.
Anything you buy online is covered by the terms, shipping and returns policies on that site, not by these terms. Products bought in person at the studio are covered by your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't legally be excluded.
My services come with guarantees that can't be excluded — including that they'll be provided with due care and skill. If something goes wrong, you may be entitled to a remedy. These terms apply on top of those rights, never instead of them.
Liability
I take real care with every cut. That said, and to the extent the law allows, Omari Blendz™ isn't liable for:
- Minor nicks, scratches or short-term skin irritation that can happen in normal barbering.
- Reactions to products where a relevant allergy or skin condition wasn't disclosed beforehand.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the studio.
This clause is subject to clause 12 above and doesn't limit liability that can't legally be limited.
Privacy and your information
To take a booking I collect your name, phone number, email address and appointment history. Payments are processed by third-party providers — I never see or store your full card details.
Your information is used to run and confirm your appointments, and to contact you about them. I don't sell it or share it with anyone outside the booking and payment systems that make the appointment work.

Intellectual property
The Omari Blendz™ name and logo, the STRUKT name and logo, and all content on this website — images, video, copy and design — belong to Omari Blendz™ and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published here at the time you book is the one that applies to your appointment. The last updated date sits at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Queensland.
